Statement Regarding Death Reports About Clinicexpert

In recent days, particularly in the British press and on social media, there have been comments and reports about the unfortunate passing of one of our patients. These have caused us great distress. We feel it is our duty to provide you, our valued patients, with accurate information and clarity on this matter.

First and foremost, we are deeply saddened by the loss of our patient. We are closely following the matter with the utmost sensitivity and will continue to offer every possible support.

For over 14 years, the “Clinicexpert” brand has held a respected position in health tourism, working to ensure the safety and satisfaction of patients who place their trust in us.

The reports and comments circulating online include unfounded allegations against our institution. These claims have been spread and amplified without verification, leading to false and defamatory remarks aimed at tarnishing our reputation. We are deeply troubled by these baseless allegations and strongly deny them.

Our Approach to Safety and Operations

At Clinicexpert, we have always prioritized safe healthcare services by working with highly qualified physicians. In addition to our employed medical staff, we sometimes contract external doctors as operating room physicians. The surgeon in question, involved in the case at hand, was one of these contracted external physicians.

Although they are a specialist plastic surgeon, we believe it is unjust to hold the entire clinic and all our doctors accountable for a single tragic incident. We kindly request fair judgment before forming opinions or making comments about our institution.

Legal and Medical Clarifications

The matter is still under investigation by judicial authorities. The forensic medical examination has not identified any malpractice by the surgeon or the healthcare facility. Additionally, allegations in some reports of “organ trafficking” have been categorically disproven.

For instance, claims in the British press that parts of the patient’s brain, heart, and other organs were missing are both medically and scientifically implausible:

  • Brain transplants are not currently possible anywhere in the world.
  • Partial heart transplants are not viable, as the entire organ is required for transplantation.

Thus, the organ trafficking claim is entirely baseless and self-contradictory.

As per standard legal procedures, following the patient’s passing, the body was sent to the Turkish Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the cause of death. During the autopsy, routine examinations and possible sampling of organs were conducted. However, as confirmed by the autopsy report, the patient’s body left our facility intact, with no harm or damage to their organs.

Conclusion

The organ theft allegations are completely unfounded and have been sensationalized with misinformation. We present these explanations for your understanding and fairness in assessing the matter.

Sincerely,
Clinicexpert Team
